Hi Everyone I had the opportunity to be a Guest Designer over at Flutterby Designs last month. I love their products so much, a huge fan of the flair buttons and wood veneer! These are my layouts and a PL page I created. I was excited to get to use the latest travel themed collection - Any Direction. Explore
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the gorgeous products over at Flutterby Designs.
Hello??? Well this blog has been a bit neglected of late so I am going to do a couple of layout intensive posts to get up to date! First up I will start with my latest layout for All About Scrapbooks, created with the Love Always collection from CVS: Sweet
You can check out some close ups over at the All About Scrapbooks blog here. Will be back tomorrow with some catch up posts! Fiona x
Hi Everyone Fell in love with the sketch over at Scrap the Boys this month and decided to play along as I had the perfect trio of photos ready to go.
My layout is based on this sketch:
I've taken a pretty literal interpretation, simply rotated the sketch but kept to the main design. Very proud of Zane giving the mechanical bull a go at Brighton Pier whilst on holidays. The only people going on were guys around 20 years old, and no one was lasting very long at all! Zane managed 11 seconds which was longer than some of the guys we watched!
I've used a mix of patterned paper ranges to get my blue, red and yellow colour combo and created a watercolour background with watered down inks on my stars background. I've added some extra stars to embellish from Charms Creations and Corbett Creations wood veneers.
Hello everyone Loved the challenge over at Kraft Plus this month and decided to make sure I fit in in and not leave it too late! As soon as I saw the inspiration board I knew exactly which photo I wanted to scrap and it gave me the idea to cut out my photo which gives it a lot more impact than it would of had with all the background!
I took my design inspiration from the layers, the circles, the paint and even the colours to an extent! This is the Kraft Plus image:
I then challenged myself to use no paper in this too, I love my patterned paper but decided to give it a go without using any. Instead I used lots of ephemera & stickers. I am super pleased with how it turned out, I wasn't sure where it was going at one point but it all came together! Some close-ups
My background consists of masking with Dylusions spray, then some random sprays and splashes of Dylusions, stamping with Dylusions paint and some stamped stitched circles.
A mix of ephemera, stickers and chipboard helped me avoid using any paper. There is a little bit of black cardstock behind the "awesome" speech bubble.
So excited about this collection! It is Cocoa Vanilla's Totally Rad and it totally is Rad! Fab papers and the coolest embellishments in this range. I have created 4 layouts with it so far for All About Scrapbooks, and today I bring you the first one:
Love this pic of my boy, I've focused on the orange of his top and the black from the chair he is sititng it. To see more details head over to the All About Scrapbooks blog.
Today I am sharing a layout created using Crate Papers Shine collection for All About Scrapbooks. I created a few pages with this collection a few months back but still had some paper left over and when I had this photo to scrap I decided the colours in this collection were perfect!
Life is Good
Love this picture of Zane taken back in January while we were enjoying a few days down the coast. Carefree, sunny days are the best!
