Last week I had the opportunity to Guest Design over at Purple Pumpkin. These are the layouts I created using the very generous pack I was sent as well as a few things from my extensive stash of Purple Pumpkin goodies!!
Love this photo of my two taken at Zanes birthday last year. They are the best of friends and my whole world.
Next up a lovely and rare photo of both my parents. Love this grey & yellow colour combo:
I got this gorgeous pink and yellow kit which was perfect for these cute pics of Lily when she first started tap dancing that I had waiting to be scrapped.
And finally, possibly my favourite one, some pics of Zane as a pirate using some cute little pirate embellishments. I love the background on this, I have used some texture paste over a Crafters Template, love the effect and will be using it again for sure.

Last month Scrapz had a month of baby challenges! I didn't get to play along much, but I have saved some of the fantastic sketches and other challenges to do later on anyway. I did manage to complete two of the challenges.
Sheree set a challenge to scrap first Easter photos. I had forgotten all about these photos of Zane. His expression when he first laid eyes on the Chocolate Easter Bunny was absolutely priceless, it makes me laugh still looking at it now. And yes he is a total chocoholic!!
The next one was a gorgeous sketch by Chloe. Love this photo of Lily and I and was surprised I hadn't yet scrapped it!
I have discovered a heap of baby photos that I really want to scrap now so I will probably have a few more coming up!

This months Scrap the Girls challenge is this fabulous quote by Amy Li:
For this layout I have used the most recent photo of my sister and I, taken the day before she moved to Townsville at the beginning of the year. She is my only sibling and I miss having her close by. I had to print it in black and white as we had both been a bit teary!!
When I saw these cute chippie girls in the new Crate Paper Pretty Party collection I knew I had to use them to create my page as I wanted it to be girlie and pretty.

This month I taught my regular class at the All About Scrapbooks crop day then enjoyed a great day full of scrapping!!
I focused on masking for this page and this was the layout I created, using a crafter template and inks as well as using inks and sprays and chipboard to customise a tag:
Then once again I whipped up a quicker page with the leftover papers and stickers from this fun Echo Park Boys Life range.
Such a fun range!! I have also used one of the new 2Crafty titles Remember this.
And one more to show, this one I did up for a kit for All About Scrapbooks and was on the 2Crafty blog last week, using the cutest 2Crafty Kites and a title I had made up just for this page.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and didn't overdo it on the chocolate!!
These are my 2 most recent layouts on the 2Crafty blog. The first is of Lily and her best friend Madi. They have known each other since Lily was born, 2 weeks after Madi and have been the best of friends ever since. They are currently in the same class together at school too.
Love the Life Long Friends title, even if they haven't been friends for that long, it has been for their life.
The next 2Crafty layout was also for a challenge over at Scrapz that was to do an interview with your child and use chipboard on your layout. I had already done the interview with both Zane and Lily when they had their birthdays, inspired by some interviews with children I saw on Pinterest. It is a great idea to record their thoughts each year.

I have tried something different (for me) for this layout. I have used tissue paper and mists on my background then added some texture paste to a crafters workshop template, then added some mist to the textured background.
I added some butterfly rub-ons and a prima flower vine to soften the page a bit. I am quite happy with how it has turned out.
