Feeling Tropical

Hello everyone

Another gorgeous range I got to create with this month for All About Scrapbooks was Kaisercraft's Tropical Punch collection. I adore bright papers and I just love, love these bright tropical colours!!

My first layout is Besties, of Lily and her Best friend Madi, they've been friends since Lily was born, two weeks after Madi :)

I took inspiration from Lily's hot pink cardigan when creating this page of these two besties have lots of fun together on a playdate. The gorgeous base paper is one of Kaisercrafts specialty papers and I love how it frames the layout. I have incorporated a mix of the floral papers and balanced it out with a plain colour before layering under and over with the fabulous collectibles.

For my next layout, Happiness,  I have once again used a photo from tropical North Queensland! This layout is of my kids and their cousins (except the eldest who was in Sydney)  taken when we were walking along the strand in Townsville, at a lovely gazebo.

Don't they all look sweet here?

The green of the super cool pineapple print paper worked perfectly with the gazebo edges and all the bright colours mixed together is always great for photos of kids with their brightly coloured outfits - especially when everyone has a different colour on!

Notes & Things

Hello everyone

Just catching up on my last few posts for this month for All About Scrapbooks. I got to play with the gorgeous Crate Paper range - Notes & Things.
My first layout is "So Lovely", of Lily not long after her 3rd Birthday. That year she received several gorgeous dress-ups as presents and this one was one of my favourites, she looks so cute in it!! Lovely papers from Crate in this range, so easy to layer up with each other.

My second layout for today is Hello London:

The lovely green paper I have used is what inspired me to create using this photo. I went with lots of layers, including fussy cut flowers & postcards from the paper and pretty  doilies. Once that was done, I decided the papers didn't stand out enough on the papers I had chosen, so went with a basic black cardstock, to which I have added some light stamping in white and splashes of gold to fit in with the gorgeous pops of gold in this range!

Riverway

Hi everyone

Sharing my layout for All About Scrapbooks this week using Kaisercrafts new Tropical Punch Collection. Loving these bright, fun colours, perfect for photos I took on our very recent trip to Townsville, in the tropical north.

I have created the layout using the October 1st sketch over at Stuck?!Sketches. I have mirrored the sketch to create this page as it worked more favourably with my photo and embellishments.

More close-ups and products used can be seen over at the All About Scrapbooks blog.

October Scrap the Girls

Hello everyone

A new month means a new Scrap the Girls challenge and this month it is a fabulous mood board created by Rikki Graziani!

I have taken inspiration from the colour combo of pink, orange and blue, as well as the sequins, flowers, paint splashes and pops of gold to create my layout. This photo is of my friend Naomi and I at the Sisters Chic Retreat we attended in August - first retreat in a very long time!!

Lots of great prizes up for grabs this month from Rainbow Splendour and Scrapmatts! Be sure to pop on over to the STG Blog, check out the moodboard and get inspired by the rest of the Creative Teams examples and get your entry in!

AAS Catch Up Post

Hi Everyone

School holidays here and we had a lovely week away visiting my sister in Townsville. Catching up now on a few layouts from the last couple of weeks for All About Scrapbooks

The first one is the last of my shares with Kaisecrafts Teddy Bears Picnic range, created using an old Pixie Foto I had of Zane at about 6 months.

My second share for the last week of September is using Basic Grey highline, a photo of Lily and my youngest niece from when they last visited us in Sydney:
