Crate Paper Confetti

Hello everyone

Almost forgot to share these layouts, these were the last of my May layouts for All About Scrapbooks. I got to play with the pretty Crate Paper Confetti collection. I adore this collection with it's pops of gold.

Two of a Kind

This background paper was super busy, but so fun so I used some of the plainer patterns to build up some layers for my photo.

The next page is, Always Cute

Same day, single pic of miss Lily. These papers went so nice with the first photo I used one with similar colours again.

That's all for now

The first one for today is Sloths

Mum and Bub sloth in this picture, taken at Singapore Zoo, so close I could of touched them!! Love this photo and the lovely memories it invokes.

My second layout is: Do Not Feed the Animals

A bit of fun at Sydney Wild Life Zoo when we visited with family, in front of the giant crocodile head sculpture.

Close-ups and more details of technique and products I have used for these pages can be seen over on the All About Scrapbooks blog.

Travel Layouts with Pink Paislee's Atlas collection

Hello everyone

Now I'm almost all caught up. Today I am sharing two layouts I have created this month for All About Scrapbooks using the stunning Atlas collection by Pink Paislee. Love the colours in this collection so much.

My first layout, Tower Bridge

I'm slowly getting through the Europe trip layouts - almost 2 years on!!

For this layout I created my background using Gelatos and colour matched it to the papers I was using, and the diagonal design was influenced by the paper you can just see under my photo.

I've stuck closely with the matching embellishments for both layouts, using the Atlas ephemera and luggage tags.

My second layout, which is currently on the All About Scrapbooks blog is:

View from the Top

This photo is from our trip to Hong Kong back in 2011 - I've had this photo printed out for so long but never liked any ranges with it till now.

The background on this layout was created using watered down Dylusions Sprays, then some light stamping. I've combined a couple of other travel ranges on this layout - the wood veneer are from MME Hello World range and also some stickers from Jillibean Soup's Sightseeing Stew range.

You can see both of these and close ups of my layouts on the All About Scrapbooks blog. While you're there be sure to check out the new look to the shop with it's great prices on the latest ranges.

May Layouts with Kaisercraft

Hello

My May layouts created for All About Scrapbooks, using the latest Kaisercraft collections.

My first layout Do Your Thing;  created using the Say Aloha collection. These limes and hot pinks were just the right colour combination for this dance photo of Lily's. My title is the title of the song she danced too.

And my second share is created using Kaisercrafts Scrap Yard papers - lots of grungy goodness in this collection.

When Life gets Tough, put on your Skates:

I played on the wording for my tile,  the actual paper strip said put on your boxing gloves, but I thought that was a tad aggressive, so changed it to skates to fit in with my photo ;)

Scrap the Girls - June Challenge

Hello everyone

Well we are now half way through June can you believe it? The second reveal for Scrap the Girls went live yesterday, so popping in to share my DT sample.

Be YOU tiful

I created the background for this layout using the shaving cream marbling technique, but instead I used a wide spatula to mix the colours to create this effect.

The Challenge for the month is to use this mood board:

I've taken my inspiration from the colours and textures of the image to create my layout. I've used a few different textures, starting with the marbled base, doily, chipboard , feather and paper layers.

The challenge runs till the end of the month, be sure to check it out here:

Kraft Plus - Eye of the Tiger

Hello everyone

Well for the first time in ages, I have had time to join in on a scrappy challenge!! Loved this one from Kraft Plus the moment I saw it - apt that I already had my hands on Kaisercrafts Into the Wild collection.

The challenge over at Kraft Plus is to use Kraft as your background plus for Animal Print and Circles.

Here is my take on the challenge: Eye of the Tiger

Yes, cheesy title,  but that damn song wouldn't get out of my head okay? Besides, he does have awesome blue eyes.

These photos are from 2013 when we visited Singapore Zoo and got to see the amazing White Tiger while he was feeding. An impressive and gorgeous animal.

I've used 2Crafty nested Circles on my page to frame my photos, subtitle and some extra animal print paper.  I've inked them then added some crackle paste for some texture. The papers are all Kaisercrafts In the Wild.

Title in white so it pops against the busy tiger printed background. A few splashes of Dylusions inks, some flowers and leaves and little wood veneer to finish off.

Disney Layouts

Hello everyone

Back again as promised to share my 12 x 12 layouts using the Simple Stories Say Cheese and Enchanted collections. I really, really loved using these papers and finally being able to scrap these Disney pages.

My first page - Princess Castle

Lots of pretty pastel colours and silver accents in the Enchanted collection, so perfect for all things Princessy!

Magic - featuring Minnie & Mickey Mouse, a long wait to greet these guys. As you can tell it was near Halloween when we visited so they aren't in their traditional outfits - I've added a splash of orange to my layout from an echo park paper to blend it all together!

My final page - Meeting Pluto. Zane was a bit over meeting Characters at this point but Lily was happy to give Pluto a big hug.

Disney Project Life style pages

Hello everyone

Again a big break with no posts, health has been rather poor this year so far, so will just continue my catching up!

For April over at All About Scrapbooks I got to play with the new Simple Stories collections, Say Cheese II and Enchanted. These are absolutely PERFECT for Disney inspired pages.

A few years ago we were fortunate enough to go to Hong Kong and visit Disneyland over there. The kids both absolutely loved it. I still have a lot of those pics to scrap and using the Project Life style of pocket scrapping will help me get it all done. I plan on combining it with regular 12x12 layouts.

My PL style pages

Beautiful Belle

Some close-ups. Firstly, my journaling.

and some of the inserts.

Believe MAGIC:

A smaller 3x4 pocket used for journaling this time:

Fairy hugs! Love how perfect these cards are for each character!

Princess Aurora & Prince Phillip:

Journaling page,

and a pocket with photo and just a photo sticker to tell part of the story:

Thanks for stopping by,
tomorrow I will share some 12x12 layouts from Disneyland
